I
mportant Information
This free e-newsletter is borne out of a passion for proper health education to be made freely available to everyone (and don’t worry, your email address will never be given to anyone else – it remains confidential). I am 100% dedicated to finding and reporting the truth on topics that matter and I am also 100% independent, which means I take no money from companies or products I may write about, and I cannot be bought off by suppliers. It is also not my intention to sell you anything in this newsletter and I promote what I believe to be the absolute truth at all times. Sometimes people heavily promote a particular brand of water filter, cleaning agent, health product or equipment for monetary gain, free advertising or some exposure as a result of their “endorsement”. I have never done this, nor will I ever do so. It is my absolute joy and pleasure to provide scientific information in this newsletter – for free! Hope you enjoy it!

General Health Newsletter – April 2009

Having had such a fabulous response to my Big Mince Rip Off in last month’s newsletter, I will be doing more comparisons, and sleuthing from now on to bring you the truth behind what we are eating out there.  This month in my subscriber E-Mag I have uncovered some very scary cola ingredients, and compare 5 well-known cola drinks and what they do to you.  No room this month for a comparison in this newsletter, but I’ll do an interesting one next month.

Let’s take a look at bacterial imbalance this month though – SO many people suffer with digestive complaints, it’s alarming. Could you have signs of bacterial imbalance in your body?  If so, beneficial bacteria called “probiotics” will make a huge difference to your overall health. These organisms are vitally important for preventing fungal conditions and absorbing important nutrients.  Unaddressed imbalance always eventually leads to disease.

Signs of Bacterial Imbalance

  • Digestive problems
  • Constipation or diarrhoea
  • Food allergies and sensitivities
  • Sugar and carbohydrate cravings
  • Fatigue
  • Acne, eczema and fungal infections
  • Poor immune system, colds and flu
  • Poor concentration
  • Inflammatory disorders

The number one cause of a reduction of beneficial is usually abuse of antibiotics. Further contributors include other prescription medications, the contraceptive pill, stress, alcohol, recreational drugs, pesticides and herbicides in foods, chlorine and fluoride in our water, environmental pollutants, exhaust fumes, chemicals in cleaning products, hair dyes, tanning lotions and cosmetics that we apply to our skin daily, and a poor diet of over-processed foods. The list is long.

We have over 500 species of bacteria living inside us, and more are discovered every year. Each species plays a pivotal role in helping to keep the gut clean and healthy and the good and bad bacteria levels in balance.  Our MaxiBiotic 5, with 12 strains and 5 billion colony-forming units (CFUs) plus a prebiotic - all in a vegetarian capsule, offers you a host of benefits.

Benefits of MaxiBiotic 5:

  • Enhances the general health of the digestive system
  • Assists in the digestion of lactose and protein
  • Promotes bowel regularity
  • Helps to reverse “leaky gut syndrome”
  • Helps alleviate the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)
  • Useful in the treatment of ulcerative colitis
  • Beneficial in the treatment of urinary tract infections
  • Strengthens the immune system
  • Helps maintain healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels
  • Prevents the overgrowth of harmful bacteria and fungi
  • Contributes to the destruction of moulds, viruses and parasites
  • Protects us from environmental toxins such as pesticides and pollutants
  • Involved in the manufacture of vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12, A, D and K, folic acid, biotin, choline and inositol – to name a few.

We all need probiotics daily. As an April Special, we’re offering our newsletter readers the powerfully formulated synbiotic (pre- and probiotic) called MaxiBiotic 5 at R75 instead of R95 a bottle (save R20 a bottle!).  It has 12 strains, 5 billion probiotic organisms or CFUs per capsule, and is one of the strongest on the market today.  We also have available our powerful MaxiBiotic 20 (with 20 billion CFU’s.  To take advantage of this once-off special offer, please contact our office at pa@sallyanncreed.co.za and to read more about these magnificent organisms, click http://www.creeds.co.za/probiotic.htm.
